What CBD Oil Does

Cannabidiol (CBD) is a component of cannabis and is derived from the hemp plant. The other well known component of cannabis is tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). CBD oil impacts the body differently than THC, it gives users the benefits of medical marijuana, but without the intoxicating effects. CBD can help with a variety of ailments, including: pain, anxiety and even seizures.

CBD Oil Impacts Seizures

In 2012, a little girl named Charlotte was suffering from a rare form of epilepsy. A new strain of hemp had been developed that was high in CBD and low in THC and was shared with her mother who then administered it to her. The strain, which would widely become known as Charlotte’s Web, helped reduce her seizures and and symptoms. This paved the way for the first FDA approved CBD product to treat epilepsy.

There has also been a noticeable correlation between the legality of CBD at the state level and the amount of opioid prescriptions written by doctors, says Dr. Sanjay Gupta.

I wish I could give 10 stars, honestly. One of the owners, Leslie, really went above and beyond to help me in my time of need. I bought some hemp oil off Amazon that made me feel sick. Having seen the great reviews for this store, I called to ask questions about what’s normal to feel and what not. She went so far as to research the other product for me and compared everything about this product to hers, guiding me through her website, products, and the publicly available, signed, dated, sealed, and accredited lab reports that she has for each and every one of her products. She educated me on the different strains and much more. I felt very confident in using her product, despite having such a terrible experience with the other one.
